Meet Your Practitioner
Amy Neal, L.Ac. MACM
Amy graduated with honors from Tai Xuan Institute in Honolulu HI where she received her MS degree in Chinese Medicine. She has been licensed since 2011 and has received her National Certification with NCCAOM.
She has additional training in Functional Medicine, Prenatal/Birth/Postpartum Support , Pain Management, Mental-Emotional Support, and Nutrition.
"I have extensive training in Women’s Health, Digestive & Immune Disorders, Mental-
Emotional Support, as well as Prenatal and postpartum support. I have been a Licensed Acupuncturist since 2011. I am a Certified Health Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Functional Medicine Practitioner. I have had the opportunity to work with Hawaiian Shaman where I incorporate the indigenous knowledge and wisdom passed down to me through my teachers.
I feel my role is to bring back the sisterhood that's been lost and assist women in not only healing their physical and emotional bodies but also take them back to their roots and help them connect to their own indigenous wisdom. Because we all have it and it's so easy to tap into once we begin to trust ourselves.
The culmination of my training, life experiences, and birth of my two children is what awakened me to my calling to assist women in prenatal, birth, and postpartum support. I didn't have much support throughout my pregnancy and postpartum experiences and realized I was one of many feeling alone, vulnerable, and worried I would screw up the whole mom-ing thing. I was unaware at the time that I needed support, validation, and a group of wise women around me telling me it would be okay.
I believe that we are all whole, sacred beings that have become disconnected from ourselves, our Earth, and our Ancestors. Overtime, this can turn into physical illness, disease, and mental illness.
This is why I focus on helping women work through any physical imbalances with Chinese Medicine and Functional Medicine, but also assist with mental, emotional, and spiritual support through the use of Mindfulness, Guided Imagery, and Mental Emotional Release Therapy."
