Eric is licensed in the state of North Carolina to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine. He has a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville NC, is certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is certified in clean needle technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
"As an oriental medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, I feel it is important to approach each patient individually. The experiences and health of each person is as unique as their DNA or fingerprints. No matter how similar a condition is on the surface, no two patients will ever receive the exact same treatment or diagnosis.
Oriental Medicine is not 'cookie cutter' medicine.
This means that every time you see me, I will re-evaluate where you are in the healing process and always tailor the treatment to your unique needs.
No condition or problem is ever completely helpless. I work well with other forms of medicine and can work with, help manage, and even enhance other treatments you may be receiving from other medical establishments. The goal of any medicine should be the enhanced quality of life for our patients and we should work together to reach those goals.
I found my calling in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture in treating pain, of all types, along with specializing in the treatment of women's health. I received my training at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC. It was there that I studied under Master Jeffrey Yuen, renowned Classical Chinese Medicine practitioner and 88th generation Daoist Priest. I continue to study under Master Yuen and attend other courses, lectures, and seminars to bring the best knowledge and care into the treatment room for every patient.
When we are out of balance with ourselves, we are out of balance with the world around us."
